The Story of the Yiannis Wine family of businesses & My Wine Connection

We started out as a small restaurant where locals could congregate to enjoy fine wines & cuisine. As time passed, we expanded to begin shipping wines to our customers. Our business model & personal, attentive customer service quickly gained popularity in our home town of Virginia Beach, and before long we had begun shipping wine to any state we could get a license for. Now, for over a decade, we've been delivering fine wines from all over the world, across the United States.

Wine isn't the end of our story, however; the restaurant side of our business grew as well, with our flagship location, Yiannis Wine & Food becoming a local hotspot for haut cuisine & the fine wines that pair with it. We also opened a family-style pizza restaurant with a Greek twist, Victoria's Pizzeria, serving up hot, authentic brick oven pizza, pastas, sandwiches (We call them sandos) and more.

My Wine Connection is part of a larger effort to position ourselves as a nation-wide go-to source for wines shipped directly to your door, from everyday classics like Belle Glos, Daou and Caymus, to rare, allocated selections like Opus One & Domaine de la Romanee-Conti.
