We look\u003cbr\u003eforward to sharing our love of wine with you as you explore the Y Series.\u003cbr\u003eThe fruit for the Y Series Pinot Grigio is sourced from premium viticultural regions of South\u003cbr\u003eAustralia. Careful hand-picking allowed the grapes to be picked at optimal ripeness. Whole\u003cbr\u003ebunch pressing was used to minimise color and tannin extraction from the pink skins, followed\u003cbr\u003eby oxidative handling to naturally remove any remaining colour. Fermentation proceeded on\u003cbr\u003efull solids, utilising yeast indigenous to the vineyard. The wines were then left on their lees until\u003cbr\u003eblending, giving the final wine complexity and finesse.\u003cbr\u003eGood rainfall was recorded during July \u0026amp; August which replenished the sub-surface soil\u003cbr\u003emoisture. This proved invaluable as spring and summer were on the dry side. Rainfall late in\u003cbr\u003eDecember and again in late January was vital to refreshing the vines during the growing season\u003cbr\u003eand leading into harvest. Following near perfect ripening weather, the Pinot Grigio grapes were\u003cbr\u003eharvested in late January through to the middle of March.\u003cbr\u003eT A S T I N G N O T E S\u003cbr\u003eStraw with green highlights in colour, this wine has an appealing mix of fresh aromas including\u003cbr\u003efeijoa, orange blossom, nashi pear and wild honey with a floral lift of jasmine and rose petal.\u003cbr\u003eThe palate is refreshing and lively.
