Temperatures in summer were within normal ranges\u003cbr\u003eup until mid-July and then above average for the remaining part\u003cbr\u003eof summer until the harvest. These climatic conditions slowed\u003cbr\u003edown the ripening cycle and resulted in a harvest whose timing\u003cbr\u003ewas consistent with seasonal averages. The grape harvest began\u003cbr\u003ethe last week of August with Pinot Grigio and Pinot Bianco.\u003cbr\u003eTrebbiano Toscano was harvested mid-September while\u003cbr\u003eRiesling Renano was picked the first week of October.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVinification\u003cbr\u003eFreshly harvested grapes were destemmed and delicately pressed. The must was chilled to a tempera-ture of 10 °C\u003cbr\u003e(50 °F) to favor natural clarification. After 48 hours, the must was transferred to stain-less steel tanks where\u003cbr\u003ealcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature that did not exceed 17 °C (63 °F). The wine was aged in\u003cbr\u003estainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10 °C (50 °F) up until bottling which took place starting in\u003cbr\u003eNovember 2024.\u003cbr\u003eHistorical Data\u003cbr\u003eVilla Antinori Bianco is one of the historic wines of the Antinori family. It was produced for the first time by Niccolò\u003cbr\u003eAntinori in the 1931 vintage and since then the label has remained virtually unchanged, as has the production\u003cbr\u003ephilosophy, oriented towards a full representation of the wine’s source, the place where its grapes are cultivated.\u003cbr\u003eTasting Notes\u003cbr\u003eVilla Antinori Bianco is straw yellow with light green hues. The nose is intense and refined with fruity aromas of\u003cbr\u003epineapples and citrus fruit that follow over to hints of orange blossoms.
