Finally, the blend is rounded out with a touch of refreshing, mineral Vermentino (also known as Rolle) from the granitic and quartz-laden Cobb Vineyard in Amador. The result is an exceptional, dynamic white wine that is truly California.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCRITICAL ACCLAIM\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e91 points Vinous\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBright aromas of cyanic peach pit and fresh herbs. Plump and lightly phenolic, with a distinct umami character and hints of nut oil and licorice to the savory, saline middle palate. Not at all a fruity style. Conveys a very high-pH impression but has plenty of tannic support.
