However, in August, a series of dry lightning storms brought significant challenges to the region’s vineyards. Careful attention was given to picking decisions and fruit processing to ensure the quality of the grapes remained uncompromised. All Trione fruit was harvested successfully and produced incredible depth of flavor and structure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWinemaking\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTraditional techniques using open top fermenters and manual punch downs were implemented. To accentuate the fruit component, we ferment with twenty percent whole cluster. The components are a selection of clones 777, 667, 114, 115 and UCD37. Each clone brings to the blend its own distinct characteristics.
