Today there are nearly 700. Yet we remain small,\u003cbr\u003e\nfamily-owned, and committed to the stunningly beautiful Marlborough region.\u003cbr\u003e\nMarlborough’s sheltered, sunny, cool climate is increasingly known for outstanding Pinot Noirs.\u003cbr\u003e\nGrapes are sourced from two vineyards in the Southern Valleys Subregion of Marlborough.\u003cbr\u003e\nThese clay soil, hillside sites giving mid palate weight, concentrated plum flavours and firm fine-\u003cbr\u003e\ngrained tannins.\u003cbr\u003e\nGrapes were hand-picked and sorted to ensure pristine quality. Some whole berries and a\u003cbr\u003e\nwhole bunch component were included in the ferment (10-20%) adding floral notes and fine\u003cbr\u003e\ntannins.\u003cbr\u003e\nT A S T I N G N O T E S\u003cbr\u003e\nFloral perfume and fine grained tannins derived from whole bunches compliment the natural\u003cbr\u003e\nplum and blackberry fruit typical of these Southern Valley sites. The clay soils give medium\u003cbr\u003e\nbody, great flavour concentration, firm fine tannins and a lengthy finish.\u003cbr\u003e\nF O O D P A I R I N G\u003cbr\u003e\nThe combination of earthy spice and bright fruit found in this wine compliment dishes such as\u003cbr\u003e\nduck breast with poached cherries.
