We picked this vineyard a bit earlier than usual out of an urgency to protect our fruit and what we discovered throughout the aging of the wine in barrel is an incredibly elegant wine, with dancing acidity that will wake your palate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAsian five-spice, black cherry and a hint of lavender are evident on the nose. The lively entry features bright black berry notes along with ripe red cherry and milk chocolate that give way to warm spice and a faint suggestion of exotic flowers. Mouthcoating and round, the tannins are fine-grained and well-integrated for such a youthful wine.
