Slightly\u003cbr\u003ewarmer than other regions of the Yarra Valley, with rainfall in the winter and spring, and\u003cbr\u003erelatively cool, dry and humid summers. There is limited maritime influence. Grapes are grown\u003cbr\u003eon a North facing slope of the valley floor.\u003cbr\u003e100% whole bunches undergo a natural yeast fermentation. The wine is then left on lees for a\u003cbr\u003eyear, with just one handling into the blending tank before bottling. A small amount of Sulphur is\u003cbr\u003eadded at this point. Wines are bottled without fining or filtration.\u003cbr\u003eT A S T I N G N O T E S\u003cbr\u003eSpicy and stalky, it has the customary black and red berry notes of Cabernet with a perfumed\u003cbr\u003efreshness and medium body.
