Great wine originates in the vineyard, and great vineyards originate in the soil. Most world-renown viticultural regions consist of loam soils and Sonoma County is no exception. Within the loam family of soils is an array of classifications, or “series,” identified and cataloged by four distinctive features: composition, depth, slope, and geographic location. Our family grows Cabernet in 23 of the distinct Loam soil types, yet I felt that only three were worthy of the “Grand Cru” distinction.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mauritson Loam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42975795708128,"sku":"105987","price":93.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0649\/9713\/0464\/products\/mauritson-loam-loam-cabernet-sauvignon_1.jpg?v=1663887814","url":"https:\/\/www.mywineconnection.com\/products\/mauritson-loam-loam-cabernet-sauvignon-2016-750ml","provider":"My Wine Connection","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
