LOTE 3 Tinto 2020\u003cbr\u003eW I N E D E S C R I P T I O N\u003cbr\u003eThis Project was born from the will of three winemakers, Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal and\u003cbr\u003eJorge Serôdio Borges who wanted to make a wine together.\u003cbr\u003eThe Dão wine region was chosen due to our shared admiration for old wines and was\u003cbr\u003eborn during a tasting of wines from the ’60s and 70’s decade, which surprised us with\u003cbr\u003etheir elegance and freshness. The Identity and complexity of these wines are remarkable\u003cbr\u003eand served as an element of inspiration to create our MOB wines, whether white or red.\u003cbr\u003eThe vineyards, in a total of fifteen hectares, ten located in Seia and five composed by old vines\u003cbr\u003ein Gouveia, are situated in one of the colder sites of the region, in the foothills of “Serra da\u003cbr\u003eEstrela”, the conjunction of altitude, soils, and the grape varieties of the property convinced us\u003cbr\u003ethat it would be the right place to move forward.\u003cbr\u003eThis wine comes from vineyards located in Gouveia and Seia. It was fermented in stainless steel\u003cbr\u003etanks, with soft extraction at\u003cbr\u003elow temperatures. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels of 225L.\u003cbr\u003eT A S T I N G N O T E S\u003cbr\u003eThis Lote 3 seeks to be an ancient Dão with a modern approach. It is a wine with a beautiful\u003cbr\u003esoft color, it’s fresh and easy to\u003cbr\u003edrink as the ancient wines from this region but with a more charming aroma than\u003cbr\u003eit’s antecessors.
