The heat turned up in late August and early September accelerating ripening, bringing a rapid and fast-paced start to harvest. Our inaugural La Crema Cabernet Sauvignon vintage resulted in riper red and blue fruit characteristics.\u003cbr\u003e\nVINIFICATION COMMENTS\u003cbr\u003e\nEstate vineyards in the Alexander Valley offer some of the redder, darker, and more dense tannins in the blend. With the composition of other mountain and valley vineyards, blended with Merlot helping to add riper and softer fruit expressions to provide wine length and balance.
