Christopher Winery, and it continues to guide our practices in the vineyards and cellar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOur Appassionata Vineyard was thoughtfully planned to minimize the impact on the land and to foster a biodiverse ecosystem.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWe preserved many of the property’s magnificent oak trees, and left a wooded area and wetlands untouched to maintain an active wildlife corridor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhen we discovered a huge honeybee colony living in a tree that did need to be removed, we relocated that section of the tree to another part of the property, where the hive continued to thrive for many years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOther trees that were removed provided the wood for the bars and tables throughout our tasting room, the colorful flooring in the loft, and even our coat rack.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis is our third vintage of single vineyard Chardonnay from the Corrine Vineyard,fermerly known as the Olenik Vineyard. This Chardonnay was fermented and aged in one new French oak puncheon (large format barrel) .The Corrine Vineyard is comprised of both volcanic and sedimentary soils, a most unique and distinctive advantage in the northern tier of the Willamette Valley and Chehalem Mountains and is now farmed biodynamically.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e50 cases produced\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"J.
