The vineyard is located in the commune of Menétru-le-Vignoble, a tiny part of the appellation which is still being discovered. The 909 refers to the year in which a handful of Jurassian monks left the abbey of Baume-les-Messieurs to found the Cluny Abbey, which, like his other cuveés, is a good description of the region.  This is mouth filling and red fruited.
