Cyril planted cabernet sauvignon at Henschke’s Eden Valley\u003cbr\u003evineyard in the 1960s.\u003cbr\u003eA traditionally wet winter, mild spring and excellent fruit set provided a great start to the 2015\u003cbr\u003evintage after four vintages with below average yields. Spring was dry and led into a very mild,\u003cbr\u003edry summer with no disease, resulting in fruit with higher natural acidity, and incredible\u003cbr\u003eflavour and colour concentration.\u003cbr\u003eMatured in 20% new and 80% seasoned French hogsheads for 18 months prior to blending and\u003cbr\u003ebottling.\u003cbr\u003eThe grapes are from vines which are managed using biodynamic principles grown on the\u003cbr\u003eHenschke Eden Valley vineyard.\u003cbr\u003eT A S T I N G N O T E S\u003cbr\u003eDeep crimson in color.
