Their cool, windswept vineyard\u003cbr\u003e\nin Sonoma’s Carneros region is ideally located bordering San Pablo Bay, where\u003cbr\u003e\nthe grapes slowly mature, developing intense varietal character, while retaining\u003cbr\u003e\nexcellent acidity and finesse. Made from this coveted fruit, this mouth-filling wine\u003cbr\u003e\ndisplays beautiful layers of stone fruits and citrus, as well as French oak-inspired\u003cbr\u003e\nlayers of vanilla and spice.\u003cbr\u003e\nGrowing Season \u0026amp; Harvest\u003cbr\u003e\nWith early season rains saturating soils and a cool spring and summer that ensured\u003cbr\u003e\ngenerous hangtime, 2023 offered perfect weather that took the grapes to another\u003cbr\u003e\nlevel. To provide airflow and light on the grapes, we pruned and leafed early\u003cbr\u003e\nand often. Though later than normal, both budbreak and bloom were excellent\u003cbr\u003e\nwith overall yields up slightly. The weather stayed cool into fall, with only one\u003cbr\u003e\nSeptember day above 90° F, before things warmed up in October providing a final\u003cbr\u003e\npush to ripeness. Though harvest was compact, we were able to pick everything\u003cbr\u003e\nat the ideal moment, producing vibrant and refined white wines with a perfect\u003cbr\u003e\nbalance of texture and acidity.\u003cbr\u003e\nTasting Notes\u003cbr\u003e\nVibrant, complex and impeccably polished, this wine draws you in with aromas\u003cbr\u003e\nof pineapple, orange zest, lemon custard and tropical flowers, as well as rich\u003cbr\u003e\nnotes of brioche, crème fraiche, vanilla bean, nutmeg and clove.
