At roughly 495 cases this is one of the larger production wines under Bodega de Edgar aimed at being avaliable through distribution.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eVintage Notes\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFirstly the 2023 vintage was fantastic for the whites and roses. Lots of winter rain and a much cooler growing season meant a longer hang time with lower sugar accumulation. Ultimately it allowed us to get a more fully evolved wine with great acidity and lower alcohol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTasting Notes\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBright saline aromas of ocean air, kefir lime leaf and wet limestone notes introduce a fresh and zippy wine with lean citrus fruit components that give over to an austere minerality. Crushed chalk, wet slate, and lime pith carry throughout the palate, give it an appetizing and palate-cleansing effect.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCRITIC ACCLAIM\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWE 91\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eMakrut lime and chalk aromas cut into richer scents of guava and bubblegum on the nose of this wine.
